How do I recruit observers?
The process of recruitment is entirely up to you and there are many options!
Some companies choose to ask students or people who are studying facilities management to help out. This provides free experience for the students as well as gives you peace of mind that the job will be done right.
You might also hire observers through a staffing agency or through a commercial real estate consultancy.
Another possibility is to recruit your own company employees to conduct the observations or your facilities management subcontractor.
Once you have got a list of observers, you can invite them to your survey clicking the "Team" menu on the top right of the main screen after signing into the web app (https://my.vantagespace.com)
Click "Invite new users" and a pop up window will allow you to enter email addresses individually as well as the user level.
Each observer will receive an email invite and be asked to set a password. After which, you can assign them to any study you set up.
This determines how much they will be able to do and see throughout the survey process.
If you invite someone as external, they can only access the survey through the app / record observation data in the app and cannot sign in to the website or view the data that has been uploaded.
