Articles on: Setting up a Study

FAQ: Is each observation a study? What is an "observation" as compared to a "study"?

No, each "observation" is not a "study".

An "observation" is the data recorded for each workspace during an assigned study tour time.

A "study" consists of all study tour times for a specified set of workspaces over a specified period of time, typically one or two weeks.

A "study tour time" is assigned in study set-up. There can be one or many tours per day. Common practice is to have at least one tour in the morning and one tour in the afternoon and even more common is one per hour or per two hours during normally scheduled office working hours.

There are no limits on the number of observations you can make per study.

Pricing scales up slightly the longer your run a study and the higher the number of workspaces to be observed.
