How does Vantage Space comply with GDPR?
At Vantage Space, we worked hard to prepare for EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure that we fulfil its obligations and maintain transparency about our space utilisation app and how we use data.
Here’s an overview of the GDPR, and how we prepared for it at Vantage Space:
The GDPR is a comprehensive data protection law that came into effect on May 25, 2018. It replaced existing EU law to strengthen the protection of “personal data” and the rights of the individual. It's a single set of rules which governs the processing and monitoring of EU data.
Here are some of the things we did:
We’ve a Data Protection Officer to oversee and advise on our data management. Get in touch through the chat or by emailing team@vantagespace.com.
Security is a priority for us. We have done external audits and pentests. We’ve built a robust security framework and reviewed our internal access design to ensure the right people have access to the right level of customer data.
Feel free to reach out to us in chat if you have any questions about the GDPR.
